Shri Ras Traders

Shri Ras Traders is based in the old part of the city, right in Tripoliya Bazar inside the Raja Udai Singh Ki Haveli. It is a busy spot where the noise of the market never really stops. Every morning we open up the heavy shutters and the dust from the street eventually settles on our front counter. We have been operating here for quite a while now. Dealing with people all day can be tiring, but that is just how life in the bazaar works. The Haveli has a lot of history and we are just a small part of its daily life. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud that we have to shout just to be heard by the person standing right in front of us. We stock all sorts of things and keep our ledger books on a small back desk. This is not a fancy place by any means. We have simple wooden stools for visitors to sit on while we talk. Usually, the chai wallah comes by twice a day and that is when we finally take a short break. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have known us for years. They know where we sit and how we do things. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the orders are packed up right. The walls could use a new coat of paint but we never find the time. We just keep moving.
