Shri Laxmi Trading Company

We are located at Chandpole Bazar in the New Anaj Mandi, shop C-14. Shri Laxmi Trading Company is mostly about the grain trade. If you come here, you will see bags of grain piled high and the smell of raw produce everywhere. The Mandi is a very hectic place, especially in the early hours. There are trucks coming in from the farms and laborers carrying heavy sacks on their backs. It is a lot of shouting and haggling over prices. Our shop is just a simple space with a desk and some samples of what we are trading that day. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grain with our hands. You can tell a lot just by the feel of it. It is not a clean job; there is always a layer of dust from the grain. We have been at C-14 for quite some time now. We know the other traders and the farmers who come in. We don't have any fancy brochures. Our business is built on just being there every day and doing the work. The New Anaj Mandi can be overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but for us, it is just where we earn our living. We follow the seasons and the harvests. When the day ends, we lock up the shutters and head home.
