Bhatia Traders

Bhatia Traders is a small operation located at 172/47 in Pratap Nagar. This neighborhood is mostly residential, so we are a bit of a local fixture for the people living nearby. We trade in various household goods and supplies that people need for their daily lives. The shop is cozy, maybe even a bit cramped if more than three people come in at once. We have shelves lining every inch of the walls to make sure we have enough variety. It’s a family-run thing, so you might see different generations helping out behind the counter depending on the time of day. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. Most people just walk in because they know we are here and they trust us to have what they need in stock. We talk to the customers about their families and the local news while we ring up their items. It’s a slow pace compared to the big malls, but we prefer it that way. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery, and our customers are usually patient about it. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time and plan to stay as long as the neighborhood needs us. It's just a simple life and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop. We keep the books tidy and the floor swept.
