Shree Vinayak Departmental Store

The store is tucked away in Vaishali Nagar, specifically around Vidhyut Nagar and Chitrakoot at number 12-. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but most of the people living around here know exactly where Shree Vinayak Departmental Store is. We opened this place because we saw how many families were moving into the new apartments nearby. Every morning starts the same way, with the shutters going up and the milk crates being delivered out front. We carry all the basics like different types of dal, cooking oils, soaps, and those snacks the kids always ask for after school. The shelves are pretty crowded because we try to fit in as much as we can. Sometimes a box of biscuits might be sitting where the detergents should be, but that is just how it goes when we are busy. We don't have a computerized system or anything high-tech; it is mostly just us writing things down or remembering the prices. The lighting isn't perfect, and it can get a bit warm in the back corner where the flour sacks are kept. We are just a local spot where you can grab what you forgot for dinner. It’s nice seeing the same faces every day and knowing what kind of tea they prefer. We don't try to be like those big supermarkets. We just keep the staples in stock and stay open until the last customer finishes their evening walk.
