Shree Krishna Kirana & General Store

Shree Krishna Kirana & General Store is located inside the Vasundhra Shopping Complex in Kumawat Colony, Jhotwara. Jaipur is a big place, and Jhotwara is a busy residential area where people are always on the move. We’ve been running this store for several years now. It’s a simple general store where we keep all the basic items for a household. We have things like flour, pulses, cooking oils, and some snacks for the children who come in after school. The shopping complex isn't like the big glass malls you see in the city center. It’s a local place where people come for their daily chores and errands. We have a lot of regular customers from Kumawat Colony who stop by every few days to stock up. I spend most of my day behind the counter. My son helps out in the evenings after his college classes are done. We don't have any big marketing strategies or posters. We just keep the shop open and make sure we have the things people ask for. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon heat, and we just sit in the doorway until it comes back on. It can get dusty because of the wind in Jaipur, so we are always wiping down the jars and bags. We aren't a big chain, just a family-run business. We like the routine of it all, opening up and closing down.
