Shiv Shankar Tea Company

Shiv Shankar Tea Company is located at Plot No 2020 on Nahargarh Road, right near the 2nd crossing and the Red Elephant Temple. We spend most of our time here just sorting through the tea and getting orders ready. It gets pretty busy around this part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is out and about. People know us because of the location. We do not have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It is just a place where we keep the bags and handle the local sales. My father started this business and we just kept it going over the years. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going while we weigh out the tea for customers. If you walk past the temple, you can usually find us without much trouble. We get people coming in for all sorts of tea, mostly the strong variety for making chai at home. The floor is usually covered in a bit of tea dust, but that is just how it is when you are working with this stuff every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road, which makes the neighbors a bit annoyed, but we try to move things as fast as we can. It is just a few of us working together here to get things done. We show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
