Shiv Provison Store

Our shop, Shiv Provison Store, is right on Renwal Station Road. We have been here quite a long time now. It’s a small place but we try to keep it stocked with everything people need for their kitchens. You’ll find flour, pulses, spices, and the usual household things like soap and matches. The morning is always our busiest time because everyone is stopping by on their way to work or the station. It can get a bit crowded in the aisles when the delivery trucks arrive with new stock. We handle everything ourselves, from unloading the sacks of grain to helping customers find what they are looking for on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to wait for the next delivery, which is annoying, but that's how a small shop goes. We know most of the faces that come through the door. It’s not a supermarket where nobody talks to you. We usually have a bit of a chat while we are weighing out the dal or bagging the sugar for someone. The shelves might look a bit packed and maybe a little dusty on the top, but we know exactly where everything is. We stay open late most nights so people coming back from the train can grab what they forgot. It’s a simple business. We just sell what people need for their daily lives. It’s what we do every day of the week.
