Shiv General Store

We've been at C Scheme Subhash Marg 36 for quite a while now. It's just a regular shop where we keep the things people need every day. My father started Shiv General Store and now I handle most of the day-to-day stuff. We open up early and stay until the evening when everyone is heading home. Most of our neighbors stop by for bread, milk, or some soap. It is a small place, sometimes a bit cramped when the delivery boxes come in. Subhash Marg gets busy in the afternoons, so parking can be tricky right out front. We try to keep the shelves stocked properly. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, but that’s just how it goes. We know most of the faces that walk through the door by name. It isn't a fancy supermarket with bright lights. Just a local spot where you can grab a few things and chat for a minute. My nephew helps out on weekends when he isn't at school. We have a ledger for some of the regulars who live just down the street. It’s a quiet life keeping the store running. Nothing too exciting happens, but we like being here. The building is old but it stays cool in the heat. We keep a fan going near the counter. That is pretty much who we are for the most part.
