Shin Vam Export

Shin Vam Export is located over at No. 752, right by Ban Walon Ka Gate on Chaura Rasta. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets every single day. The gate itself is a bit of a landmark for us and helps people find the place. Most days start pretty early here because the traffic on Chaura Rasta can get backed up if you aren't careful with the timing. We spend a lot of our time handling different exports and making sure everything is packed up right before it leaves the shop. It is a lot of back and forth with the paperwork and the local transport guys who pull up. The building we are in has been around for a long time, and it feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We see the same faces walking by the gate every morning when we open up. It’s not fancy or modern, but it works for what we do. We have some storage space and a small office area where we sit down to figure out the shipping schedules and the routes. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy with all the rickshaws and people talking outside, but that is just how life is in this area. I guess we've just gotten used to the way things go around here. We just keep our heads down and get the boxes out when they need to go. There is always someone around to help with the loading. It's a simple setup at number 752.
