You can find us at C-3 / A-3 in Banipark, right along the Sawai Jaisingh Highway. We’ve been running Shilpita Stones International Llp from this part of Jaipur for some time. Banipark is a well-known area, so it's easy for people to find us. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We deal with stones on an international level, which sounds fancy, but it really just means a lot of emails and late-night calls because of the time differences. It’s a small team here. We don’t have a lot of extra staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing. Sometimes that’s filing, sometimes it’s checking stone quality. The highway outside is always loud, but you get used to the sound of traffic after a few weeks. We aren't interested in being some giant corporation. We like the way things are run now, where we know every order that goes out the door. Jaipur 302016 is a good base for this kind of work. We spend our days managing shipments and talking to suppliers. It’s not always easy, especially when there are transport strikes or bad weather. But we’ve been through it all before. We just keep moving forward and doing what we know how to do best, which is handling stone exports for clients across the world from our little highway office space. It's what we do.
