Our place is in Kumawat Colony, specifically D 5, over in Jhotwara. Being in Jaipur is great for an export business because there is so much being made around here. Shango Global Exporter Llp is basically a few of us working out of this spot to get local goods sent to other places. It involves a lot of packing boxes and checking weights. The office is not anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and talk to suppliers. Jhotwara is a busy part of the city, so there is always something going on right outside the door. We handle all sorts of stuff, depending on what people are asking for from month to month. Some days it is textiles, other days it might be something else entirely. We do not stick to just one thing because you have to be flexible in this trade. It can be stressful when a shipment is late, but we have learned to deal with it over the years. We are not a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group trying to make a living. Most of our work comes through people we have known for a long time. We do not spend money on big ads. If the work is done right, people come back. That is how we have always looked at it.
