Shagun Tea Company

Shagun Tea Company is based in Unnati Tower, which is right there in Vidhyadhar Nagar. If you walk past our place, you can usually smell the tea before you see the sign. We spend our days sorting through different grades of leaves and getting everything ready for customers. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and making sure the storage stays dry. The office in Unnati Tower is where we do all the weighing and packing. It’s a simple setup with some scales, a lot of bins, and plenty of packing material. We aren't a massive corporation with fancy marketing; we’re just people who know a lot about tea. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from the leaves, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We talk to suppliers and local shopkeepers all day long. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’ve grown used to the rhythm of it. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The sunlight hits the windows in the afternoon and makes the whole place feel warm while we finish up the day's orders. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way without making a big fuss about it. We just focus on the leaves and the bags.
