Sattva Sarees

We are situated at No. 9 on Narain Singh Road. It is quite close to Trimurty Circle, which is a very busy part of the city. Sattva Sarees is a shop that stays pretty busy because of the location. There is always a lot of traffic and the sound of horns outside our window. Inside, we have long counters where we can show the sarees to anyone who comes in. The walls are lined with boxes, each one labeled with a marker so we know what is inside without having to open everything. We have some overhead fans that hum quite loudly, but they are necessary when the afternoon sun hits the front of the building. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who have been working here for a while. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and making sure nothing gets wrinkled. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. Sometimes we stand near the door just to get a bit of a breeze from the street. It’s a straightforward business. We open up in the morning, dust the shelves, and wait for the first customers to arrive. We don't do much in the way of big displays; we just let the items speak for themselves when we pull them out. It’s a local shop for local people.
