Anju Khiriya Charan

Anju Khiriya Charan is located at 129 in the Hanuman Nagar Extension of Khatipura. This area used to be a lot quieter, but lately, more businesses have been popping up in the residential streets. Our place is tucked away, so it does not feel like you are in the middle of a massive city. It is a standard building, nothing that would make you stop and stare, but it is home to our daily work. I walk to the corner shop for milk or snacks pretty often. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear kids playing in the late afternoon. Inside, it is just a regular office setup. We have some desks, a few cupboards full of folders, and a calendar that is usually a month behind. It is a bit messy sometimes, with papers piling up on the corners of tables, but we know where everything is. The Hanuman Nagar area has its own charm, with the trees lining some of the streets. Getting here is easy enough if you know the Khatipura side of Jaipur. We do not put on any airs here. It is just a place where we sit down, do our tasks, and go home when the sun sets. It is comfortable and quiet enough to actually think, which is rare these days. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice. We just do our thing.
