Babita Sharma is the name on the board here at D-28 Bais Godam. I set up this space in Govindpuri quite a few years ago now. It’s tucked away in Ram Nagar Vistar, which is a bit quieter than the main road. The office isn't much to look at, just a couple of rooms and a front area where people wait. I usually keep a stack of old magazines on the table, though nobody really reads them. The walls are a pale yellow that’s started to peel in the corners. I keep meaning to paint but never find the time. It’s just me and one other person helping out with the daily tasks. We don’t have a fancy computer system. Most things are still written down in big registers. The street outside can get a bit narrow when people park their scooters haphazardly. My neighbor runs a small grocery shop and we usually share a pot of tea around four. It’s a simple way to work. I don't like the noise of the big city centers, so this spot works for me. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the house number because the signs aren't very clear. I just tell them to look for the blue gate. There's no big team here, just honest work being done every day. I try to stay on top of everything but sometimes the filing gets ahead of me. That's just how a small business goes.
