Saree Sansar

We are over at A 8, Naya Khera, on the Mall Road side of Vidhyadhar Nagar. This part of town has changed quite a bit since we first opened Saree Sansar. It used to be a lot quieter, but now there are more people moving in and more shops popping up everywhere. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have the usual racks and a few mirrors on the walls so people can see how they look. The floor is tile and it stays pretty cool, which is nice in the summer. I usually spend my time talking to the ladies who live in the apartments around here. They stop by when they are out for a walk or going to the market. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word just gets around from neighbor to neighbor. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost because the numbering in Naya Khera can be a bit confusing, so I end up standing out on Mall Road waving them down. It is just a small local shop. We keep a teapot in the back and there is usually a newspaper laying around somewhere. It is a comfortable place to work, even if the shelves get a bit disorganized when we have a big group in. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the place looking decent.
