Sahapurahari Kisan Producer Company Limited

We’re a group of farmers from the Baran area who came together as Sahapurahari Kisan Producer Company Limited. Badri Lal Nagar, whose father is Ram Kishan Nagar, manages the main paperwork and meetings at his place in Sahpura. We aren't a big city company. We’re just neighbors who realized that we could do more if we pooled our resources. Farming around here in Baran has its ups and downs. One year the rain is good, and the next it isn't. By working together, we try to handle the market prices a bit better than we could on our own. Our meetings aren't formal. We usually just sit around at Badri Lal’s place and talk about what we need for the next season. There’s no big office or receptionist here. It’s just us, the local farmers. We spend most of our time in our fields, so if you're looking for us, that’s where we’ll be. We don't use a lot of fancy words or try to impress anyone. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming for years to come. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We try to help each other out with equipment or seeds when someone is short. Being part of this group makes the hard days feel a little easier. We’re just practical people doing what we’ve always done, just in a more organized way now.
