J. J. Exports

We are situated on Tonk Road, right across from Sanghi Farm in the Kailashpuri area. J. J. Exports is a small operation, and our office is just a regular room filled with desks and a lot of samples. Being on such a major road means we are easy to find, but it also means it’s never truly quiet outside. You can hear the buses and cars all day long. We spend most of our time coordinating between the people who make our products and the people who want to buy them. It involves a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls that don't always go smoothly. Sometimes there’s a misunderstanding about a color or a size, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. We don’t have a big corporate structure. If something needs to be done, the person closest to it just does it. We keep a stash of biscuits and a kettle in the corner because the days can get long. The view out the window toward the farm is nice, though it’s mostly just seeing the traffic pass by these days. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to make sure our shipments are accurate and leave on time. It’s a simple life here in Kailashpuri, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of it over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the paperwork.
