Rupsi General Store

Rupsi General Store is located in Pratap Nagar Sector 64, right at number 24. It’s one of those shops where you can find almost anything you forgot to buy at the big market. We open up early in the morning, usually before most people are even awake, to get the milk crates sorted. The shop isn't huge, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. We’ve got soaps, lentils, biscuits, and those small packets of snacks that the kids from the neighborhood come in for after school. Most of our customers are people who live in the surrounding blocks, so we know most of them by face. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting home and realizes they’re out of cooking oil or sugar. We spend a lot of time counting change and writing things down in our register. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. It’s a lot of standing around and moving boxes, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical store where you can walk in and grab what you need. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive at the same time and the street gets a bit blocked, but that’s just how it goes in Sector 64. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same day after day.
