We are located in the village of Paushisurendra, which is in the Bhupati Nagar area. The office is actually part of Tapas Jana’s place. It’s a very quiet, rural setting compared to the big cities. Rgdcsp Skill Development is here to provide some training to the local folks in the village and the nearby P.O. area. We don't have a big corporate building or anything like that. Instead, it’s just a simple room where we can sit down and teach. Sometimes you can hear the birds or the sounds of the village life outside while we are working. For the students, it makes for a peaceful environment. Fancy office furniture isn't something we have, just what’s necessary to get the job done. Most of the people who come here are from around the neighborhood. They walk or come on their cycles. Going over basic skills that can help people get jobs or start something of their own is how we spend our time. It’s a very small operation, run by a few of us who care about the local community. Not many signs point the way, but if you ask anyone in Paushisurendra for Tapas Jana’s house, they’ll show you where we are. It’s a very grounded way of doing things, without any of the noise you find in the bigger towns. Each day we just take things as they come and help out.
