If you go to the Shastri Nagar Shopping Centre, we are in the Saraswati Plaza at A-69. It’s a bit of a maze in there with all the different shops and small businesses. Our place smells like tea most of the time, which isn't a bad thing at all. We have crates and bags of various sizes stacked up against the walls. It’s more of a place where we get work done than a place for show. There’s a small desk where we handle the orders and a scale for weighing things out. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with leaves and bits of paper, but we sweep it up at the end of the shift. We’ve been here for a while and know the other shopkeepers in the plaza quite well. We often share a snack or talk about how the business is going during the slow hours. The lighting in the plaza isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps in our unit to see what we are doing. It’s a simple setup. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are. Dealing with the deliveries is the biggest part of our day, making sure the trucks can get close enough to unload without blocking the whole road. It keeps us busy from morning till night.
