Rawal Colddrink

Our place is called Rawal Colddrink and we are located right across from the Jaipur Railway Station in Bani Park. We are on Power House Road. Since we are so close to the station, we see a lot of people who are just arriving in the city or waiting for their trains. We mostly sell cold drinks, bottled water, and some snacks like biscuits and chips. In the summer, it gets incredibly busy because of the Jaipur heat. Everyone wants something cold to drink. We have a couple of large refrigerators that we try to keep stocked up, but sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the ice melting. It’s a small shop, mostly just a counter facing the street. There isn't really anywhere for people to sit down, so they usually just stand on the pavement and drink their soda. The noise from the trains and the station announcements is constant. We also keep some basic travel items like small locks or soaps for people staying in the nearby hotels. It’s a fast-paced spot. People are always in a hurry to catch their trains, so we have to be quick with the change. We aren't a big restaurant or anything, just a simple place to get a cold bottle of water or a Limca. We’ve been here at Bani Park for quite a few years now.
