Ravi Sharma

My name is Ravi Sharma and you can find me in the heart of Jaipur. I am located at Sita Ram Ji Ki Gali, specifically at the 4th Cross near Kalyan Ji Ka Rasta. I stay at the place of Brijmohan Mishra. This part of the city is very old and has a lot of narrow lanes that can be confusing if you are not from around here. My workspace is tucked away in one of these streets. It is a traditional building with thick walls that keep it cool even when the Rajasthan sun is beating down outside. I have been working from this spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy neighborhood with shops and houses all mixed together. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long. I mostly handle local tasks and keep a record of things in my big ledger. My desk is old but it works just fine for me. I don't have any assistants, so if the phone rings, I am the one who picks it up. People in the gali know me and often drop by for a cup of tea while we talk about work. It is a very social way of doing business. I like the history of this area and wouldn't want to move anywhere else. Every morning I walk through the gates and get started on my list of things to do for the day. It is simple work.
