Rathi Tea & General Store

Our shop is located at Plot No A-1, in Gali No A-5 of Jhotwara, Jaipur. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Airtel Tower. It’s a landmark everyone around here uses to find their way. We deal in tea and general items. Tea is a big part of what we do, as many people in the neighborhood come specifically for that. The shop is a bit tucked away in the lane, but once you find Gali No A-5, you can't miss us. It’s a typical local store. We don't have any polished floors or air conditioning. It can get quite hot in Jaipur, so we just keep the fans going and hope for a breeze. We spend a lot of time chatting with people while they pick out their groceries or tea leaves. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about being part of the Jhotwara community. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own families. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us, or they just see the tower and walk over. Running the store takes up most of our day, from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep the shelves filled and the tea fresh for whoever stops by. It is just a normal shop life.
