Rama Juice Centre

Rama Juice Centre is at Malviya Nagar, specifically in the Nagar Nigam Bazar at shops 51 and 52. We have a lot of crates of oranges and pineapples stacked up near the entrance most of the time. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get inside when the new fruit arrives. The machines we use for the juice make a constant buzzing sound that we don’t even hear anymore. We spend a lot of time washing fruit and cutting things up. Malviya Nagar is a bit more modern than the old city, but the bazar still feels like the old days. There are always people coming back from shopping who look tired and thirsty. We just give them what they ask for and they move on. The floor gets sticky from the juice no matter how many times we mop it. We have a couple of small mirrors on the wall and some old calendars. It isn't a place where you stay long. You come in, get your drink, and go back to your day. We like it that way. It keeps us busy and the day goes by faster when there’s a line. We don’t do any fancy mixes, just what we have in the crates. Sometimes the fruit isn't as sweet one day, but that’s just how nature is. We keep the counter as clean as we can.
