Ram Babu Khandelwal

I am Ram Babu Khandelwal and my place is G-23 in Kamla Nehru Nagar. It is right by Nandpuri and the Swej Farm area, not too far from 22 Godam. If you know Jaipur at all, you know this part of town gets really busy with all the trucks and the train tracks nearby. I have been here for a long time. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it works for what I do. I don’t have a website or anything like that. I just rely on people knowing where I am and what I do. My day usually starts with checking the mail and seeing what needs to be fixed or sorted. I grew up not too far from here, so I know most of the shop owners around 22 Godam. We all kind of look out for each other when things get tough. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside the front room, so I am always sweeping. It is a lot of manual work, but I do not mind it. It keeps me busy and out of trouble. I don't have a big team, just a couple of guys who help out when the work gets too heavy. We just do the work and go home. There is not any big philosophy behind it. It is just a way to make a living and help the people in the colony.
