Rajpal Choudhary

Our place is at B-15 Akhepura Jamunapuri, which is tucked away in the Muralipura area. It is a pretty standard neighborhood, and we have been here for a while now. The building at B-15 is nothing too special to look at, just a regular structure like the ones next to it. Inside, it is mostly just a desk and some chairs where things get sorted out. Being in Muralipura means we are away from the very center of the city, so it is a bit quieter, which is nice for getting work done. Rajpal Choudhary is the name on the front, but it is a very low-key operation. We don't have big signs or anything that draws too much attention. Mostly, people find us because they know the area or have been told where to go. There is a small tree outside the gate that gives a bit of shade in the afternoons. Inside, the shelves are mostly filled with old records and a few books. We use a simple computer for the daily tasks. The lighting isn't the best, so we usually keep the door open to let some natural light in. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the street, and you can hear them through the walls. It is a very normal way to spend the day. We don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is, just a quiet spot to work in Akhepura for many years.
