If you find yourself on Khatipura Road in Sodala, you will likely see us right across from Maliyo Ki Bagichi. It is a landmark that most people around here know, which makes it easy to find the shop. We carry a mix of groceries and general household items that most families need on a regular basis. The shop is usually a bit of a jumble with sacks of grain on the floor and rows of colorful snack packets hanging from the ceiling. We do our best to keep things in order, but when it gets busy, especially in the evenings, it can get a little chaotic behind the counter. We’ve been operating in this spot for some time now, and we’ve seen the road get busier and busier every year. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. It's just about providing a place where you can pick up a liter of milk or some matches without any fuss. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who stop by. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive, or the power goes out and we sit in the dark for a bit, but that is just how it is. It's a plain, honest shop for the local folks living near the bagichi. We just keep the lights on and the shelves full.
