About Rajeev Watch Sales & Service – Gifts in Jaipur
My shop is at the Bargain Centre near Panchwati Circle in Raja Park. It’s a decent spot because there are always people walking around the circle. I have a mix of some watches for sale and a bench where I do all the repairs myself. Most people come in because they dropped their watch or it just stopped ticking for no reason. I have a lot of different tools spread out on a green mat. It looks messy to other people, but I know exactly where everything is. The air in Raja Park can get quite dusty, so I have to wipe down the glass every morning before I start my work. I have a small television in the corner that I keep on the news, mostly just for the noise. It can get lonely here if no one stops by for a few hours. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and my back usually aches by the time I go home for dinner. I don't use any fancy machines, just my hands and some basic instruments. Sometimes a kid will come in with a cheap plastic watch and I’ll fix it for a few rupees. It’s not about making a lot of money, it’s just what I do for a living. The shop is small and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for me. I keep some spare parts in old tins that used to hold biscuits. It’s a simple way to keep things sorted.
