Rajasthan Nagara Shoes Factory

Our shoe factory is located over at Ram Garh Mod. It is not a very big operation, just a steady one. Rajasthan Nagara Shoes Factory has been in this spot for quite some time now. We have several workbenches set up where the leather gets cut and the pieces are put together. There is always a smell of glue and leather in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. The floor is usually covered in small scraps by the end of the day. We try to sweep up every evening before we head home. It is a bit loud when all the machines are running at once. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. The lighting could be better in the back corners, so we use some desk lamps to see the stitching clearly. It’s mostly manual work that takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the materials don't arrive on time and we have to shift our schedule around. That is just part of the business though. We don't worry about being fancy. We just care about making shoes that hold together. The neighborhood around Ram Garh Mod is busy with a lot of small workshops like ours. We get along well with the guys next door. It's a decent place to spend the day working. We usually finish up late when there's a lot to do.
