Our little setup is right there in Shop No. 2 at the Bhagwati Indian Oil Complex in Mundiyagarh. It is a busy spot near Jaipur where things are always moving. Since we are Raj Arid Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, we spend a lot of time thinking about how to grow things when the water is scarce. Rajasthan is dry, everyone knows that, but Mundiyagarh has its own rhythm and challenges. Having the shop near the oil complex is handy because people are always coming and going for fuel or supplies. You see tractors pulling in and folks stopping for a chat while they get their business done. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a local bunch trying to make sure the farmers around Jaipur get a fair shake. The shop gets a bit dusty with the trucks passing by all day, but we keep the doors open anyway. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the afternoon and we just sit on the bench outside until it comes back. It is honest work. We deal with the seeds and the ground every single day. Most of us grew up right here, so we know the families and the land well. We don't use big words or have meetings in fancy boardrooms. We just talk across the counter. It’s about the land and the people who work it, nothing more than that. If you need us, we are usually there.
