Our business is at 127 Sansar Chandra Road, right in the heart of Loha Mandi. As the name of the area suggests, it’s all about metal and heavy industry around here. We deal with agricultural equipment and parts that farmers need. The shop is big and open, with concrete floors and high ceilings. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have some big fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been part of Loha Mandi for years, so we know all the other shop owners on the block. It’s a loud place with trucks coming and going all day long. We don’t have a fancy display. The parts are mostly kept in bins or on heavy-duty shelves. Usually, people come in with a broken piece of machinery and ask if we have a replacement or can fix it. We do our best to help them out. It’s dirty work, and we usually have grease on our shirts by noon. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a few of us who know how the equipment works. We don't use much fancy talk. We just tell you if we have it or if we can get it. Sometimes the supply chains are slow, and we have to tell people to wait a few days, which isn't ideal but it's the truth. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
