Raghav-Devesh Minerals

Operating out of 223, Crown Ground Plaza on Gandhi Path Waqt, we spend most of our days dealing with different types of minerals. Vaishali Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We started Raghav-Devesh Minerals because there was a need for someone local who actually knows the material. It's a lot of paperwork and checking quality, making sure the loads are what they should be. The plaza is okay, though the elevators can be slow when you're in a hurry. We don't have a big corporate setup with receptionists in suits. It's just us at our desks, usually with a cup of tea and a lot of logbooks. People stop by sometimes to talk about orders or just to see what’s moving in the market. The weather affects the mining side of things, so we’re always watching the sky during monsoon season. It can get dusty in this business, that's just how it is. We try to keep things simple. If a shipment is late, we tell you why. We don't use big words to cover up mistakes. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and stones, but we know where everything is. Gandhi Path is always loud with cars, but you get used to it after a month or two. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name. It's just honest work with rocks and earth, really. Every day is different but we just keep moving forward.
