Qul Rehbar Producer Company Limited

You can find us at House Number 28 on Lane 6 in Jawahar Nagar. It is a busy residential part of Srinagar and we have turned part of the house into our working space. Being a producer company means we are always coordinating with people out in the fields while staying rooted here in the city. The lane is usually pretty quiet until the trucks or the deliveries show up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the big table in the front room. It is a humble setup. We don't have fancy signs or a glass front. We just have our desks and the paperwork that comes with managing a group of producers. We deal with whatever the current season brings. It might be fruits one month and something else the next. The people who work here are all locals and we’ve known each other for years. We try to keep the operations simple so we don’t get overwhelmed. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by the windows, but that is just part of living in Srinagar. We focus on getting the produce from the farms to the market without too much fuss. It is a daily grind but it feels good to be part of the local economy. We are just trying to do our part from this little corner of Lane 6. The neighbors are used to us by now and they often stop by to say hello.
