Prem Shekhawat Juice Center

Prem Shekhawat Juice Center is our small shop on Hatwara Road, right near the Ajmer Road in Jaipur. You can find us easily because we are quite close to the State Bank Of India on Ajmer Road. In a city like Jaipur, especially during the summer, it gets very hot. That’s when we are the busiest. We spend our days peeling fruit and running the juicers. The 302006 area is a good place to be. We have a lot of regular customers who stop by on their way to work or after finishing their business at the bank. It’s not a big shop, just a counter and some crates of fresh fruit stacked up in the corner. Sometimes the oranges are a bit sour, sometimes they are sweet, it just depends on the season. We don't add much to the juice, just what comes out of the fruit. My brother usually helps me with the cleaning, though he’s a bit slow sometimes. We’ve been at this same spot on Hatwara Road for several years now. We have a small radio that plays old songs in the background while we work. It’s a simple job but it keeps us busy. People seem to like coming here because they know what to expect. We don't have any fancy signs, just the fresh fruit on display for everyone to see. When the fruit runs out, we close for the day and go home.
