Prem Departmental Store

Our store is located in Sodala, Jaipur, specifically at Shop No 3 in the Ram Nagar Extension area near Swez Farm. We are quite close to M J R P G College and the Shyam Nagar area. It’s a good location because we get a lot of students and local residents coming in. We call it a departmental store, but it’s really just a place where we try to keep everything a household might need under one roof. I spend most of my day making sure the shelves are stocked and the floor is clean. Jaipur gets very hot in the summers, so we keep the shop cool for the customers. We have been here for a while and have seen many students come and go over the years. Some of them still stop by when they visit the city. We don't have a big team, just me and a few local boys who help with the deliveries. It’s not a corporate chain, just a family-run business. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and wait for the customers. It is a steady life and we like it that way. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but it has everything you'd expect to find in a neighborhood store. We just try to stay organized and make sure we don't run out of the basics like pulses, oil, and spices.
