We are set up at Plot No. 54/219Heera Path in Mansarovar. The sign says Pragatikisan Bio Planttec Privatelimited. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it describes what we are doing with the plants and the bio-tech side of farming. Mansarovar is a busy area, and being on Heera Path means we see a lot of people passing by. Our space is filled with all sorts of things related to plant technology. It’s not your average shop. We have a lot of talk about seeds and growth cycles going on inside these walls. We aren't trying to be some giant company; we just want to help the local farmers get better results with what they plant. The people working here have a lot of dirt under their fingernails and a lot of practical knowledge in their heads. We don't use a lot of big words to explain things. If a plant is growing well, we are happy. If it isn't, we figure out why. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We’ve been at this plot for a bit, and the neighbors know us as the plant people. It’s a good spot to be. We just show up, do the research, look at the plants, and try to make things a little better for the next season. It’s steady work and we enjoy it because it connects us to the earth while being in the middle of the city. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
