Prabha General Store

Prabha General Store has its spot at 115 Gheewalon ka Rasta, which is tucked inside Johari Bazar. It’s one of those places that has a bit of everything shoved into the shelves. We’ve been here for years, watching the street change while we mostly stay the same. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space, even stacking things high up near the ceiling. It gets noisy outside with the rikshaws and people calling out, but inside it’s just us and the goods. We sell the things people need for their kitchens and houses every day. Most of the time, neighbors just pop in to pick up a single item they ran out of. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just the old wooden counters and the stuff we sell. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise when it’s hot, but we’re used to it. Dealing with distributors and keeping track of what’s running low takes up most of our time. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a corner store where you can get your supplies without any fuss. If you live around Gheewalon ka Rasta, you probably know where we are. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs something. It’s a steady kind of life, working in the market every day. We don't worry about the internet or big ads. We just focus on the people walking in.
