At Pooja Art, we operate out of Anand Colony 54/55 in the Murlipura area. It’s a standard residential street, so our workshop is right in the middle of where people live. You can usually hear the sounds of children playing outside or the local vendors passing by while we work. The space itself is two rooms that we've converted into a studio of sorts. It’s pretty packed with supplies, and we have to move things around just to find a place to sit sometimes. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door so people know they’re at the right house. The lighting isn't the best, so we often work near the windows to get the most out of the daylight. Most of the people working here have grown up in Murlipura, so we’ve known each other forever. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If someone needs to take off early for a family thing, we just handle it. The work gets done because we all care about the pieces we're putting together. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone just hears about us from a friend and drops by 54/55 to see what we have. It’s a humble setup, but we’ve been doing this for a long time and it feels like a natural part of our lives.
