Poddar International

Our office is located at Poddar House, which is right on Poddar Street in the Burmese Colony area. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads nearby. We have been operating out of units 59 and 60 for quite a while now. The building is an old one, and it feels like home to most of us who work here every day. We don't do much in terms of decorating the place or making it look modern. There are stacks of files and desks that have been here since we first opened up. We spend our mornings catching up on paperwork and talking to people who come by. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll often see a few of us sitting around having tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. Burmese Colony has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We deal with international trade, which sounds a bit bigger than we actually are. Really, it’s just a few of us making sure everything is shipped and received like it’s supposed to be. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing, and other days it's just the sound of the old ceiling fan clicking overhead. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. Just regular people trying to do a good job from our little corner of the street. It’s nothing fancy, but it works for us and our customers seem okay with that.
