Ph Departmental Store

We've been at Subhash Chowk 424 for a while now. It's just a regular Ph Departmental Store where people from the neighborhood stop by for their daily needs. Sometimes it gets quite crowded in the evenings when everyone finishes their work and heads home. We try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual things you need, like pulses, soaps, and snacks. It’s not a fancy place, just a corner store really. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. There is a lot of traffic outside because of the busy junction at Subhash Chowk. We spend most of our time organizing boxes or checking what ran out. If someone asks for something we don't have, we try to get it from the suppliers for next time. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in such a small space. The lights flicker sometimes when the heavy appliances are on, but we get by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us here doing the work. Mostly, we just chat with the regulars while bagging groceries or weighing out items. Life here is busy and loud. The 424 building is easy to find if you're looking for us. We open early and stay late most days of the week. It gets dusty with all the cars passing, so cleaning the glass is a constant job. There’s always someone coming in for milk or bread. We just run the store as best we can.
