Parineeta Sarees

Parineeta Sarees is located at 19 Saraogi Mansion on M I Road. This building is always busy, especially on weekends when everyone comes out to shop for weddings or festivals. We are on the ground level, so it’s easy for people to just wander in while they are passing by the main entrance. The shop is filled with all kinds of sarees, from plain cotton ones to things with more heavy work on them. We don't have a big team here, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept in the back. If you ask for a specific color or a certain pattern, we usually have to dig through a few piles to find the right one for you. The floor is covered with rugs because that is where we sit to unfold the sarees so people can see the full length. It can get a bit messy when we have a lot of customers at once, with fabric draped over the counters and chairs, but we clear it up eventually. M I Road is always loud with traffic and horns, but once you step inside the mansion, it’s a bit quieter. We have been here since the mansion was one of the main places to shop in this part of Jaipur. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our stock; we just remember what we have on the shelves. It’s a practical way of doing things. People come back to us because they know we’ve been here for years and we don't change how we work.
