Pandey Kirana

Pandey Kirana is our small shop on Bajri Mandi Road. We are right at Shop Number 4, not too far from the Laupura School in the Panchyawala area. Living and working in Jaipur is good, though the summers are very tough. We mostly sell grocery items that people need for their daily cooking at home. Dal, spices, flour, and oil are our main sellers. Since the school is close by, we get a lot of kids coming in for biscuits or pens during their break time. The shop is not fancy at all. We have some old wooden shelves and a lot of sacks sitting on the floor. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road traffic, but we clean up every morning. We know the people living around here really well. Most of them have been buying from us for many years. We do not have any staff, just the family members taking turns sitting at the desk. Sometimes we run out of small change, which is a bit annoying, but we manage somehow. If you are looking for a place that sells honest goods at regular prices, that is us. We do not do home delivery usually unless it is for an elderly neighbor. It is just a basic kirana store serving the local neighborhood. We keep it simple and stay open until the street lights come on in the evening.
