Nkb Farmtech is based at Badri Jat’s place in the village of Jaichandpura. It is in the Jaipur district, but it feels a world away from the busy city streets. We focus on farm technology, mainly the kind of tools that help a person work their land better. We don't sell anything too complicated. It is all stuff that we know how to use and fix ourselves. The office is just a small part of the building. Most of the space is used for storing the equipment. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights. It is just a practical space. We started this because we wanted to bring better tools to our own village. Badri Jat has lived here forever and everyone knows his house. We don't use corporate language or have any big meetings. We just sit on the stools and talk to the farmers who come by. Sometimes we go out to the fields to see how a machine is working. It is dusty and hot work, but it is what we know. My uncle takes care of the money part and he is very careful with every single paisa. We don't spend money on ads. We believe if you do a decent job, people will talk. That is how we have grown so far. We are just a small team of local guys trying to make farming a bit more efficient for everyone in Jaichandpura.
