Shyam Ji Boutique

Shyam Ji Boutique is situated on New Byepass Road in the Nagaur district. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the city center, but the road is wide. Being out on the New Byepass Road means we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. It isn't like the crowded markets in town; there’s more space here. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain out. In Nagaur, the weather can be quite tough, very dry and hot, so we spend a lot of our time trying to keep the dust away from the fabrics. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the people around here know Shyam Ji Boutique. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it gets busy when people are traveling through. We keep a simple routine every day. We open up, sweep the front, and get to work. It’s mostly just the sounds of the traffic from the bypass and the work we are doing inside. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. The lights inside are a bit dim, but it helps with the heat. We don't go in for anything fancy or promotional, we just like our spot on the road and doing the work.
