Naveen Kirana & General Store

Naveen Kirana & General Store is out on Toll Tax Road in the Sanganer part of Jaipur. We are specifically in Govardhan Nagar. The road outside has a lot of trucks and big vehicles because of the toll nearby. It gets quite dusty because of all that traffic. We spend a good amount of time dusting off the jars and packets. Our shop is a basic place for the families living around here. We have the usual things like flour, rice, and spices. We also keep some toys and candy for the children who come in with their parents. The Jaipur sun is very strong so we stay in the shade of the shop most of the afternoon. We have some benches outside where people sometimes sit and talk for a bit. We don't have any fancy marketing. People just know we are here. We try to keep the shop clean but with the wind blowing sand from the road, it is a constant job. We open early because that is when the milk arrives. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the horns from the road. We know our regulars and what they usually buy. It is a practical business. We just do our best to stay stocked up on the essentials. We hope it helps the people living nearby get what they need without traveling too far.
