You can find Natani Kirayana & General Store over in the Chandni Chowk area of Jhotwara. It’s a local neighborhood spot where we’ve been serving people for a good while now. Jhotwara is a busy part of town and our little corner in Chandni Chowk sees a lot of local foot traffic every day. We aren't a big supermarket or anything like that. It’s just a regular kirana store where we stock the basics like grains, soaps, and other household things people use daily. The morning is usually our busiest time when everyone is getting their supplies for the day ahead. We spend a lot of time weighing things out on the scale and bagging them up for the neighbors. It's a simple life. We know most of the families who live nearby and their kids who come in for little treats. The shop isn't perfectly organized, and sometimes we have to search for things ourselves in the back, but we always find them eventually. It’s a very human way of working. No fancy uniforms or corporate rules to follow here. We just open up the shop, sweep the front area, and wait for the first customer to arrive. The weather here can be dry and dusty, so we are always cleaning the glass counters. We just try to be a reliable place for the people around here. It’s not much, but it’s our way of being part of the Jhotwara community. We just keep at it.
