Our company, Mundro Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based at number 67 in Thothawalon Ki Dhani. That’s in the Vdhadhiyan area of Anatapura, near Shrimadhopur in Sikar. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of the farming community here. We don't have a big corporate office in the city. We prefer being out here where the actual farming happens. The office is basically just a room where we keep our files and meet up to talk about the season. We’re all pretty much locals who have been around Sikar our whole lives. We started this because we wanted a way for the farmers around Shrimadhopur to work together. It’s not always easy, and we definitely aren't experts at the business side of things, but we learn as we go. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like we’re bigger than we are. We just want to make sure the local growers have a place to turn to. Some days we are just sitting around talking about the rain, and other days we’re trying to figure out transport. It’s a simple life and a simple business. If you know Thothawalon Ki Dhani, you can find us easily enough. We’re just trying to make things work for our neighbors and ourselves. It takes a lot of effort to keep things moving, but we don't mind the hard work it takes to survive out here.
