I am Mukesh Sharma and you can find me over at 281, Green Park Circle. It’s right by Dadi Ka Phatak in the Jhotwara area of Jaipur. Jhotwara is a busy place, and being near the circle means there is always something going on outside. I’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. It’s not a large corporate office, just a regular space where I can focus on my work. People in the neighborhood know the address pretty well because 281 is an easy number to remember. Jaipur is growing so fast, but this part of town still feels like home to me. I handle everything myself, from the paperwork to the actual tasks that need doing. I don’t think there is any reason to have a lot of overhead or fancy equipment if it’s not really needed. Simple is better in my opinion. I usually open up early and stay until things are finished for the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that’s just life in Jaipur. I’ve got my desk and my chair, and that’s enough for me to get things done. I don’t have any big speeches about what I do. I just do it. If you’re ever near Dadi Ka Phatak, you’ll probably see the area is always moving. I’m just one part of that movement, keeping my own corner at Green Park Circle running as best as I can. It’s steady work and I’m okay with that.
