Mudrak Design Studio

You can find Mudrak Design Studio at number 77 on Khatipura Road, right in Pratap Nagar. It’s a busy street with a lot of shops and people moving about. Our studio is a small space that’s mostly taken up by drawing tables and a few old computers. We’ve been here for a bit, and the neighborhood knows us as the place with the cluttered windows. There’s always a bit of dust coming in from Khatipura Road, so we spend more time cleaning our screens than we’d like. The building is a standard brick structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess with sketches and color swatches pinned to whatever wall space isn't covered by shelves. We don't have a fancy portfolio on a coffee table or a lounge for clients. Usually, if someone comes by, we just clear off a corner of a desk so they can sit down. The lighting is okay during the day, but at night we rely on some old fluorescent tubes that hum. It’s a basic place where we do our design work. Pratap Nagar has a good energy, even if it’s a bit loud with the traffic outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand at number 77. We have a small rug near the door to catch the dirt, but it doesn't do much good during the monsoon season when everything is muddy. There is a small radio that stays tuned to the local station all day long. We keep it near the back so it doesn't bother anyone who might be trying to concentrate on a tricky sketch.
